Abstract :

Polypyrrole (PPy) and Montmorillonite (MMT) composites of different weight percentage using FeCl3 as oxidant have been synthesized using in-situ polymerization. The electrical conduction is studied as function of temperature. The electric conductivity increases with an increase in the temperature in each of the composites. Mott’s 1- D, 2-D and 3-D variable range hopping (VRH) models have been plotted. The ln(σ) versus T-1/4 curve has been discussed, wherein the linear relationship provides an evidence for three dimensional variable range hopping electron transport mechanism in all the composites.

Statistical Analysis of Leaves a Special Plant Specie
DIPSHIKHA BHATTACHARYA

Ramgarh College (Department of Maths) Ramgarh, Jharkhand (India)

Abstract :

In this paper an attempt has been made to find a statistical correlation among various characteristics of a leaf of a plant. It is found that coefficient of variation in the leaves of plants species showed marked differences and are specific of each plant. New taxonomical methods have come into play for proper identification of plants species.

Groupoid Matrix Semirings and Their Properties
V. RAJESWARI and P. GAJIVARADHAN

Department of Mathematics, Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai – 600 030 (India)

Abstract :

In this paper for the first time groupoid matrix semirings are introduced and their properties are analysed. A matrix groupoid or a groupoid matrix is a collection of p × q matrices with entries from a groupoid (G, *) where groupoid matrix inherits the operation of G. Here chain lattices are used as semirings and groupoid matrix semirings are non associative semirings of finite order, as both the groupoids G and the chain lattices are of finite order.

Keyword : Groupoid semirings, groupoid matrix, chain lattice, groupoid, matrix groupoid, semiring, groupoid matrix semiring.

Abstract :

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of sets namely **gs-closed sets which lie in between the class of *gs-closed sets32 and the class of gs-closed sets8. we investigate their basic properties together with the relationship of these sets with some other recently introduced sets. As applications of **gs-closes sets, we introduce new separation properties, namely * Ts -spaces, Ts**-spaces and **Ts-spaces. Further we introduce and study new types of continuous functions called **gs-continuous functions and **gs-irresolute functions. Finally, we introduce and study **gs-compactness and **gs-connectedness.

Keyword : **gs-closed sets; * Ts -spaces; Ts**-spaces; **Tsspaces; **gs-continuity; **gs-compactness; **gs-connectedness

B.N.P.G. College Pacific University Udaipur, Raj. (India)

Abstract :

The aim of this chapter is to obtain some relations between Modified Multivariable H-function and Homogenous generalized hypergeometric function and various well-known polynomials. These relations are very general in nature and consequently contain a large number of few and known relation as special cases.

Abstract :

Metal compound provides opportunities for building structures with defined properties. Various diseases and their treatment depend on the metabolism of inorganic constituents. Co-ordination chemistry provides better opportunities to use metal complexes as therapeutic agents. These Co-ordination compounds show a great diversity in action. Metal coordination can be used to enhance the activity of biologically active molecules. This paper reviews about the various
applications of metal complexes in biological system.
