IR and Raman spectra of 1-methyl-1,4-diazacycloheptane were recorded and analyzed. Using Gaussian03 set of quantum chemistry codes, the vibrational wavenumbers and corresponding vibrational assignments were examined theoretically. The results indicate that the B3LYP method is able to provide satisfactory results for predicting vibrational wavenumbers. The predicted infrared intensities and Raman activities are reported.

A study of the effect of stratified viscous fluid on MHD free convection flow past a vertical porous plate with heat and mass transfer taking viscous and Darcy resistance terms into account and the constant permeability of the medium numerically and neglecting induced magnetic field in comparison to applied magnetic field is investigated. The velocity, temperature and concentration distributions are derived and discussed numerically with the helps of graphs and tables. It is observed that velocity increases with the increase in Gr (Grashof number), K (Permeability parameter) and b (Stratification parameter), but it decreases with the increase in M (Magnetic parameter).

In this paper, unsteady magnetohydrodynamic free convective flow and mass transfer through viscous incompressible fluid past a heated vertical porous plate immersed in porous medium in the presence of heat source and chemical reaction of the uniform transverse magnetic field, oscillating free stream and heat source when viscous dissipation effect is also taken into account. The velocity, temperature and concentration distributions are derived, discussed numerically and their profiles for various values of physical parameters are shown through graphs. The coefficient of skin-friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number at the plate are derived, discussed numerically and their numerical values for various values of physical parameters are presented through graphically

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Theory was proposed by K.T. Atanassov in 1986. The theory has found wide applications in diverse fields including medical diagnosis. Sanchez proposed an approach for medical diagnosis using Fuzzy Set theory. De et al. developed this method for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets using composition of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Relations. In this paper we propose an alternate method by replacing the max-min composition of De et al. with a max-prod composition which seems more effective in decision making, especially in the field of medical diagnosis

Present communication reports the experimental values of NMR spin-lattice relaxation time (T1) of 2,4 Dinitrochlorobenzene, 2,4- Dinitrotoluene, 1,3-Dinitrobenzene, 4-Chloronitrobenzene and 3-Fluorobenzoic acid . The experimental values of T1 have been correlated with the calculated values of T1 obtained using various equations of the
dielectric relaxation time (). It has been concluded that Murty Equation is a better representations of the dielectric relaxation phenomenon. The values of activation energy obtained using dielectric relaxation time have been correlated with calculated values of obtained using Arrhenius equation of NMR spin-lattice relaxation time (T1) for these compounds.

In this paper we study on stratified dusty viscous fluid through a porous medium past an infinite porous vertical plate in presence of magnetic field with time dependent suction. We consider that the free stream oscillates about a constant mean and suction velocity is exponentially decreasing function of time. The liquid velocity, particle velocity and skin-friction for liquid and dust particles have been investigated. The effect of magnetic field, Grashof number, permeability and stratification factor on velocity profiles and skin-friction have been studied with the help of graphs and tables.

The Pr2Zr2O7 compound is prepared by using solid state reaction technique. Its structural, electrical and magnetic properties have been investigated. X-ray diffraction pattern indicates that Pr2Zr2O7 crystallizes in an orthorhombic pervoskite structure. The compound was characterized through powder differential thermal analysis (DTA), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and derivative thermogravimetry (DTG). The electrical conductivity (), dielectric constant ( '), dielectric loss ( '') and quality factor (Q) of Pr2Zr2O7 was measured in the temperature range 300-1125K at an internal frequency of 1kHz. . The log vs 103/T plot yield two different slopes separated by break temperature (T1). The activation energy below and above T1 have been estimated as 0.10eV and 2.7eV respectively. Hence the electrical conductivity below T1 is essentially extrinsic always associated with impurities, defects and interstitials and conductivity above T1 is essentially intrinsic due to the change in conduction mechanism. The magnetic susceptibility of the compound was measured in the temperature range 300-1100K at field 1.55×10-1 Tesla. The magnetism in this compound arises from the rareearth ions, while Zr is non magnetic.

An analysis of the unsteady periodic flow of a viscous incompressible fluid through a porous channel in the presence of magnetic field. The governing equations have been solved by finite difference technique. The mathematical expression for the velocity profiles of the fluid have been obtained. The numerical computation involved in the solution have been shown by tables. The effects of various parameters on the flow field have been depicted by graphs and tables

Reduction of world disparity has become an important development strategy today. Literacy has been considered one of the most important attributes for social development. This study is based on acceptance of important of education. The study aims to trace the spatial pattern of literacy for different tahsil in the district. The study finds out disparity in literacy in the district. Similarly gender still appears to major issue, female does show their critical condition in literacy during the past than present in the study area not only in the rural area but also in the urban area. Last decade growth of female literacy also satisfied due to changing social attitude about education of girls and government policy are responsible for increase the literacy in the Ahmednagar district.

A novel technique of speckle photography has been applied to measure small deformation of a surface. A low-cost, commercial charge coupled device photo camera provides the images of speckle pattern through the beam splitter. Initially, a speckle pattern has been taken with the system at rest, and then second image captured after the deformation was made in the surface. By simple subtraction of the digital pictures, we obtain a fringe pattern that gives us information about the deformation.
